In depth
He was very close to mom and cared for her deeply.
Whenever she was ill, he would stay with her and wouldn’t leave her even for a second. He wouldn’t let her go for walks—mom used to trick him and go for a walk, otherwise he would start crying and creating a scene immediately.
At night, if we were watching a movie late, he would go to bed on his own at the right time and sleep without waiting for anyone.
When food was being cooked, he would come straight into the kitchen, bring his plate in his mouth, and place it in front of us as if saying, “Give me food.”
After bathing, he would feel very light and energetic, so he used to run around crazily, and only after bumping into the bed would his mind finally calm down. He would stand behind mom during prayers.
On Diwali, he would sit during every puja waiting for prasad. During Navratri, mom had offered roasted chickpeas as prasad. He quietly and secretly went into the temple area, slowly picked up the chickpeas, and started eating them. When mom didn’t see him for a long time and went looking, that’s when he was caught. 🧿🐾
